Well this week has been a big whirl wind of stuff.

I had a long week of new things and many firsts:

School started this week and the kids remind me every day how important life is. They are too funny and too crazy.

I opened a new pack of socks for the first time this week. So all week long I've been showing off my Champion Socks. I must admit I looked good in them, they are the low ankle kind. Maybe I am a bit like Winky but my socks weren't the best, rather they just were a new part of me and my collection.

Susie came home right on time and I had the first dessert for her. It was perfect timing.

I celebrated my dad's birthday at IHOP for the first time.

I put the last Christmas decorations from the TV room away (This is a first because normally I do this in March).

Overall this week was like riding on Space Mountain for the first time. Parts were exciting and then all of a sudden all those funny red blinking lights were gone and you'd be in the dark taking a sharp turn. Whooosh! ZOooOm!

Yup. That sums it up.

Who Am I? I'm Jean val Shaw! I'm being a dork because I don't have any new pictures to take here. I would love to be updating my page with beauty and youth, alas I can't do that on my own. So I am now going on a journey... I will head for the happiest place on earth where beauty and youth are found... Oh wait I can't go to see Carrie yet... Well. I'll head for Disneyland then. That's the desire I have today. I'm just waiting for that other Michael to hurry up and call back.

Life in the slow lane..

So, not much has been happening for me lately. I have become addicted to playing hearts on the computer. I keep playing against Pauline, Ben, and Michele with only one L. What a bothersome fate I see before me.

Nevertheless, I have completed about half (a little less) of my classwork for History and I've made good marks thus far. So Tonight my plan is to read more, this time about the America's and take a test online. I know life is insane.

Boo Hoo...

The Afrcian Bird has flown south for the winter. She'll return in the spring. But alas, I shall try to keep myself busy with pointless web pages and countless hours of preschool environments.

I'll try to keep this page updated with pictures that are more interesting than my words.

Here is the beautiful Pantages Theater that Carrie and I went to today. It is so beautiful and was constructed in 1930. It was later acquired by Mr. Howard Hughes in 1949. Following his ownership the Oscars were held there from 50-59!!! Now it has been revamped and is housing shows like The Lion King, Les Mis, Oklahoma, Evita, and The King and I. A true Hollywood landmark right on Hollywood Blvd.

Susie's party was a swinging good time.
