Remember at the end of that Christina Applegate classic, "Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead" movie... When the mom comes back from Australia and says "You're in big trouble Sue El." Yeah, that's what Cassidy looks like.

The Funniest Letter in the World

I don't know if I am just giddy, or if I just received something really funny...
But either way I was just laughing a ton.

I got a preview letter for my Disneyland fun that will take place on Monday, and I must say. Faaaaaaaarah. Ahh. Like a breath of fresh air. I was really tired today, so getting a silly letter to perk me up and make me smile just was --beautiful. It was a good day all in all, but just long.

Have you ever read a series of unfortunate events? I have. And it looks like reading about unfortunate events is as close as I will get to having an one... Cause life... She'sa lookin on de bright side of it all.

More to come soon...

It's official...

Halloween season is here.

I am watching Hocus Pocus.. I've watched it every year for the past 13 years the week or two before Halloween. It is so silly, and now I understand why I liked it so much as a kid. SJP... What a cutie. Fun stuff.

Who lit the black flame candle?
Max did, and he's a virgin.

Poor Thackery Binks, neither his father, his mother, nor did anyone else know what happened to him those 300 years ago.

Ladies, if you see us in the club...

Freakin'. Join in, it's the Rubble-Man. YOU KNOW WHO THIS IS? Yeah.

What the heck was Apprentice about on Thursday night!? All of a sudden a bunch of white collared men start singing and rapping with an "R n B Superstar" that was just silly. I like the show typically, but that may have been a bit much. Mr. Trump it is time to start back with the posh rewards like going to some fancy shmancy dinner with you and your beauty.

Tonight was fun. I ended up staying at work too late, which was dumb. I was the last one there. But at least I got a lot done. After that I headed home and watched the BBC and rested up with some dinner. I then headed out to do a little rock wall admiring followed by some good old Harry Potter watching. Can you believe I am friends with two people who HAVEN'T seen HPSS? I can't believe it. Well... At least they have seen it now.

Now I am sleepy but in the need to read more blogs. But alas, I am the only one who updates his blog. Boo hoo. Take that as a challenge you bloggers.

I'm totally LOST

Yes it is true. It is 2:37 in the morning and I am officially finished with the first season of LOST. It was mind boggling really. I loved it pretty much... There are somethings that I figured out a little too soon, but I really liked it thus far. My only dilemma is I can't watch the full season for this years until May or so... I want to watch them all at once.. Or those cliffhangers--ugh

Anyway ha ha I win I finished

Over Educated?

Well, it's true. I am going to Chapman to get my MAT. EE... It's true I start on... My birthday.

Oh well. Maybe it is a good omen. I wonder what Trelawney would say about that.

Give me the cup, give me the cup------It's the Grim. Wearing a cup on your head is a sure sign that you are from Oregon.

Reunion Saturday

Ok... SO I had a reunion today. Yes, it was kind of amazing.

I woke up SO late. 10:30ish. It's great. It is one of my favorite pass times: Sleep.

Anyway I was collected by Jeremy and Kristi and off we drove to Pismo. We arrived to a police greeting, and a much more pleasant greeting by Christina Stanton. That was lovely. Suddenly I saw something.. A flash of white--AUSTEN HOUGH. Walking right by. So we all gathered together and ate some food on the side of the road. We enjoyed the tastes of trip tip and SubWay.

So... Then after we decided it was a Starbucks moment so we went to SLO and had some Bucks... Then a little Barnes and Knoble.. And then some walking about the town.

After, that we met up with the lovely couple Katy and Eric Carnohan-Willis (I think that's the name) who were just newly married, and had some good eats (I had rice cakes which tickled my taste buds). Then we headed back to SM and I got to read through my photo book which I must say was AMAZING. (Yes, I use that word a lot, but it is truly up there)

I saw the Loux and the Houghs and life was good... Now I rest and enjoy writing my story... Life is good. :-)

Friday.

I must say I had a rather good evening.

First I got off work in a very excitable mood. I was happy cause I just finished a 20 minute pillow fight with three kids, Valerie, Tanya, Eboney, and Cory. It was SO fun. I felt the need to be crazy so I started a pillow fight in the middle of my classroom. Good times.

After that I got a call from Kaleb, and I went over to see his creation. Pretty amazing thus far. And once the tower of terror is erected it will be magnificent. After talking with some Ways, Kaleb and I headed out to AG where we were disappointed not to find a bookstore, but content that Starbucks existed. We sat down and hashed out some theology... That Kaleb is kind of amazing. I really like him, nice guy.

After a drink and a krispy square I dumped him off and then went to cheer on Alyssa. She did a great job playing Volleyball for AHC... And Tani, Crystal, and the Giorgi/Flamm group was there. It was fun and amusing. THEN ... CRYSTAL locked her keys in the car! And then "Jason" ("a nice name for a nice guy") broke her window open... The night was officially humorous.

So Tani, Alyssa, and myself went to Applebee's where we felt OK in the neighborhood. It was a good night... and tomorrow I project a scattered shower of laughter with an overall day of joy. Life rocks.

NY to CA

Yes. I'm back. We'll really not until Monday... (but here's a secret to those of you who read this... I'm here). I had an amazing time. Shout out to my favorite NYC Traveling Companions:

Jenn, the smashing shopping queen
Lisa, my delightful diva of a sister
Marta, the gentle jew--wait that's Tony, or so she says... then...
Marta, the girl of great networking
Parker, the quietest extrovert in the world (sorry for the lack of alliteration)

And a special shout out to:

Kyle, the king of cuisine
Sara, the queen of all things beautiful on Broadway

You all rock it! I have pictures to share soon... Be ready...

New York, New York

This is just amazing. I love networking here. Marta is the queen of it, but when it comes to getting a bargain or bartering I am the King. So tonight we have free internet, good stuff baby! Ask and ye shall receive. Marta and I went to talk with the guy who told us where to go for some Kareokee and I got the bright idea to ask "Hey, how do we get free internet?" After asking two times the guy said "Well, I could just take it off your bill I guess." And boom boom boom, click click click. Internet in our room. Great times in NYC, USA.

See ya on the Westside next week... (this one has the real NYC time posted the other ones need to be changed 3 hours up)

Parker was utterly distraught when he found this note from the Air Patrol in his baggage. Probably because he brought about 12 pairs of pants.
