Last night was kind of amazing. Two words SPIRIT DAY!
Thank you Mr. Ramirez for your contribution to my celebration calendar. For those of you who didn't know, yesterday was Spirit Day. That is the first Saturday in the month of December... However, I do believe this could be for any month to mark the opening of a new holiday season... Come on think about it... Easter, Halloween, St. Patrick's, Memorial Day--uh maybe Christmas is the only one it will truly work for... But still.
Anway, Mr. Baker and I decided to celebrate in some big ways:
1. We painted part of the writing room. (Rather than decking the halls with boughs of holly, we decked the walls with colors of beauty... The "Before" pictures will be posted below.)
2. We made plans to abduct a tortoise.
3. We made fire (how manly is that--Ooga Booga) (Pictures of the madness being posted below).
4. We ate S'mores.
5. We hung out with three characters (Tanya (aka Meat Girl), Parker (aka Parker Joe), Alyssa (aka Fat Tony)
6. We watched the biggest sob movie EVER-- It's A Wonderful Life -- two words --- HE HAW!
7. We listened to the Enya CD and sang "Meal Plan."
Yes, Spirit Day rocked. I loved it. Nevertheless, I do have to get back to the daily grind of school... However I am very joyful because I see the light at the end of the tunnel... THURSDAY! NARNIA BABY! Holla!

that was the best spirit day i ever had, the only one in fact. i'm so glad i could introduce you to the best christmas movie ever. don't worry, i cried too!
